Take note of the perforated red lines. The Fox has ascore to settle. Read all about it.
Disclaimer: We cat people may be giving the impression that we are anti-dog people. For the record, this is not true. We just can’t pass up the opportunity to post on such obvious irony.
Are those fox turds circled in red to honor Otis?
It’s so ancient Egyptian.
Fennec is the Egyptian fox, appropriate symbol of Set whose craftiness conceived the coffin into which Osiris was enticed and confined, thus causing his death. hmmmm…
I am really craving a donut with blue and red jimmies.
The fox is a little blurry. How far away we’re you when you photographed him? Lucky you.
Well, I held back from saying it before. All those feral cats are surely a problem invader for the foxes as well. The cats hunt rodents and birds just as the foxes do, thereby competing for the same resources on the island.
You didn’t mention it, but I hope the people who “love” those cats so much also have them all neutered when they capture them for medical treatment. I’m rooting for the foxes.
Can’t live with them, can’t live without them….
And what was Ramona up to in all of this?
Fix ’em, then feed ’em. Srsly.
Wonderful, wonderful. Good kitties then. (I didn’t scream, I “asserted”). Srsly. Now, let’s ban the dogs…
We do have a fox (real, not cement) in our yard on rare occasions. We do not have a rampant rabbit problem; can’t say if one has any bearing on the other. Will let you know if any Gnomes (real or cement) show up. The photo of Otis on his shrine looks like my old Tess, RIP. Quite possibly the best dog ever. Other dog lovers can make the same claim but they would be wrong. Yeah dogs! …spayed and neutered with responsible humans of course. I say that not to make war with cat people but because I’m off-the-chart-allergic to felines. Still wondering if spike (from a few blogs ago) made it home. Can I get the lovely cockroach tiles at Home Depot? Tile Town? They would make a nice border in the kitchen. Are the fish tiles yours? They’re beautiful.
