In my neighborhood, trash collection takes place on a Tuesday. The night before is a good time to canvas the neighborhood for castaways. It’s great sport. I use Tuesday on my blog to post my treasures.
“Getting it cheap is part of the esthetic” was coined by my photographer friend D Gordon
Great imagination and re-use of aging action figures from the century just past. The all powerful Jabba isn’t so hot anymore! Well, maybe still warm, but certainly not so much in control. It’s obvious the owner of this mechanical canine would like a real dog, just like the story of Pinocchio. I sincerely hope one day that dream comes true. Plus, I sincerely hope an un-named media conglomerate makes a movie about the whole thing and about 400 million dollars. Nice find.
omg how cute is that
it always amazes me that robots can elicit so much emotion, we’re such suckers (or make that speaking for myself) the future should be interesting–
D: “Aging action figures” I like that. If they ever come up with a mechanical cat, I’ll tell you about it.
While your in Chicago, be sure to get some photos of the weird baby Savages at the Chicago Veterans building. Hold that camera steady
Margaret: Having missed all Star Wars; except the first one, I had no idea of who Jabba the Hut was. Shocking!! (and brilliant on the part of the video author)
would you be jealous if I told you Mr V owns a Princess Leah wig? you can borrow it
PJ: If you can afford Redondo beach you probably can afford Tiffanys.
J Spitzer: Hey Jean, good to see you back on the web
Mary M: It’s amazing isn’t it?
Shanna: That D gives good comment (shhhh: he’s my cousin)

Sure, they haven’t worked out all the kinks, but at least you don’t have vet bills.

Ok. The whole family has seen this now. We really are that nerdy. That’s an Imperial Walker. You know that. Right?
